THIS MONTH AT ITT...

It’s time to celebrate PhD student research excellence via the ITT research student awards.  I'm delighted with the quality of travel and tourism research undertaken by these university students. Their insights will drive up professional standards by helping us understand various aspects of travel and tourism more fully.

Most of the students will be presented with their awards at the Chairman’s Summer Cocktails by The Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP, the Minister for Culture, Creative Industries & Tourism. Once again, the Summer Cocktails are a sell out and we already have a long waiting list. So if you’ve missed out this year, remember to book early next year!

13th ITT Golf Masters

ITT is delighted to announce that the 13th ITT Golf Masters will take place in the prestigious surroundings of The London Golf Club in Kent. Make sure you keep Monday 30 March 2009 free!

The timing of this announcement couldn’t be better as, on 3–6 July, the Heritage Course at London Golf Club plays host to the European Tour’s flagship event – The European Open. So if you’ve got Sky Sports, this weekend you’ll get a first-hand look at a stunning venue which you could be playing at next year!
